I got this game when it came out and have played super smash games since then. this is without a doubt the best fighting series of all time, and each addition builds on the solid foundation this title created on the n64. behind ocarina of time, super mario 64 and rayman 2, this game is one of the best that ever came out on the system.

Each character is unique so check em all out and don't forget all the modes and unlockable options you can have. Verse up to 4 Players, human or computer! Your preference. There's also heaps of levels and an in depth yet simple fighting system. Months of fun! Maybe even years. O.o

What do you get when you throw together your favorite Nintendo characters and have them battle it out? I know that was a cheesy way of starting, but it is the only way I can explain this awesome game. With your favorite Nintendo characters you can fight your friends in this outrageous fighter game. Player with up to 12 characters and battle with up to 4 players. There has never been a fighter this rediculous and fun.

One of the other reviewers,which signs himself as "PTJ" did the worst review of a game EVER,and made himself look like a dumbass.
First like first,he says: only 8 characters
there are 4 hidden characters, so that makes it 12 chars.
 
then he says: it had better sequels
no shit sherlock, the sequels were better, but they wouldnt even exist without this game in the first place
 
then he says: the graphics for this game sucks
the grpahics still hold up nowadays, its just you, also btw, graphics dont make a game
