Night Creatures (USA) ROM

Night Creatures is a 2D side scrolling hack and slash horror game. Bitten by a vampire in bat form, the full transformation of our hero can be prevented... He just has to brave the weird and haunted. Unarmed initially, our hero soon acquires weaponry such as a Silver Axe, Holy Water, A long sword, Crossbow and Shotgun! Unfortunately for our hemoglobin starved hero, depending on which type of enemies are attacking any or all of those things could be completely useless. (For example swinging a blunt physical object at an ethereal apparition... Not gonna work) Fortunately, though not in this particular example, once defeating certain boss characters our hero gains the ability to transform into animal spirits such as an Arctic Wolf or a Kodiak Bear. This game is a lot of fun, but it is EXTREMELY difficult. Even the most veteran of players will find themselves being bounced around like they are playing a nightmare version of Ninja Gaiden, and staring at the Continue Screen. Once successful, however our hero frees himself from the impending transformation and gets the girl... Or does he? Mwuhahahaha! Let's play and find out!
