An excellent game to add to any Super Mario collection.
The game is very reminiscent to Super Mario World in many ways, as well as the other games in the Super Mario Bros. series. It has 3D graphics, and has some of the moves (such as the wall jump) found in Super Mario 64. It is a wonderful combination of all the best features of the Super Mario games in one!
This is an amazing game, and will not disappoint you.

As one of the early games on the Nintendo DS, New Super Mario Bros. Still holds up all through the years of the DS. I own this game for my DS, and I still play it quite frequently. Gameplay is similar to the original Super Mario Bros. so if you've played the NES game, you should have no problem getting used to the gameplay. Even if you aren't familiar with the NES game, it won't take long to figure out controls and enjoy the gameplay.

This is one Mario game that you need to try. The game is flawless and polished bringing this remake to the top of the DS lineup. The only flaw in the game is virtually no story: The whole "Princess gets captured, you rescue her" charade. However, this game doesn't need a story to be great. The controls are spot on, and the gameplay is amazing platforming goodness you've come to know and love in classic Mario Fashion.

This game brings back the simple old school Super Mario Bros gameplay, but adds so much content to it. I have been addicted to this game when I first picked it up and it's been hard to put down. You can also play battle modes or even minigames with others friends with a DS. If you have a DS, this is a definite get. This marks as one of the best DS game along with Pokemon and Zelda.
