Tomba! is a novel side scrolling and puzzle solving adventure for the Playstation. What made this game unique was that the adventure was one continuous map, as opposed to most side-scrollers which are broken up into levels. The map is beautifully designed with convenient shortcuts that open up after completing difficult passes. The continuous map and discovery of new "quests" make this game feel half like an RPG.
