OverviewIn Sinistron, a side-scrolling space shooter, the player is the only force capable of stopping a planet-devouring, bio-organic entity which is approaching the solar system. The most notable feature in the game is the fact that the player's ship is armed with adjustable armored jaws to defeat enemies.

Violent Soldier (also known as Sinistron) is a 2D side scrolling shooter where players control a spaceship tasked with destroying alien army forces. The game is incredibly similar to R-Type and players can change their ship's formation to alter their shots. The game is alright, but fails to stand out among the plethora of other shoot em ups on the PC Engine.
