Cratermaze (USA) ROM

Cratermaze is a game very similar to Bomberman, with the exception that bombs are not used at all. The object of this game is to navigate the mazes, collecting all of the treasure chests as fast as you can (For bonuses) whilst avoiding enemies or digging "craters" for them to fall into to slow them down. The player cannot fall into their own craters, nor be struck by enemies occupying a crater, However the enemy eventually escapes and sometimes as you are trying to pass by. There are teleport pads that behave similarly to the ones in Gauntlet who's use is mandatory on some mazes to collect all of the chests. During each level, several power-ups may become available such as the shovel which allows the player to dig multiple craters in a single direction at the same time, or Speed Boots that allow the player 3x speed. I recommend this game for players of all skill levels.
