OverviewGalactic Pinball is a 3-D pinball game for the Virtual Boy, with a special guest appearance by Samus Aran.
thaddius rates this game: 3/5Galactic Pinball features four space-themed pinball tables, each with different elements and goals:
Colony: The Colony table at one point requires you to take a break from some galactic pinball action to shoot asteroids as they threaten the on-table colony. Why someone would establish a space colony on a pinball table is never explained.
UFO: The titular UFO is mounted at the top of the playing field and periodically flies around to allow access to tunnels and bumpers underneath.
Alien: Should you manage to get the 'puck' (not ball) into the alien's lair it will come out to yell at you for playing pinball on it's lawn, giving you an opportunity to repeatedly hit it's weak spot for massive damage/points.
Cosmic: Samus Aran of Metroid fame makes an unexpected appearance on this board.
