Airforce Delta (USA) ISO

Air Force Delta bears great similarity to the Playstation title Air Combat. The idea is quite straightforward, all you have to do is fly around in a fighter jet and shoot stuff out of the sky! Who in their right minds would ever say no to something like that ? ;) As with most Dreamcast tiles, Air Force Delta's graphics stood out at the time of it's release. The game looks pretty good, controls are pretty decent and the game offers you a decent sit-down-and-blow-things-up approach in easy mode. Those with no prior experience with flying games should probably take the novice mode.

However, on the flip-side the AI for the game is poorly crafted and you'll find yourself doing the same missions over and over again. The game doesn't have much replay value since there's no 2 player mode, co-op or combative. However, for any flight game fan, this game is worth your time. For others, you're better off playing something else over the weekend.

Air Force Delta was one of the first games released for the Sega Dreamcast. Developed by Konami, it's the most similar experience to the Namco's Ace Combat series you are going to find in the Sega's 128 bits console. More than 30 planes and more than 20 missions make of this a very enjoyable arcade flight game. If combat flight simulation is not your thing, go with the Aerowings series.
