The original Fatal Fury game made by SNK. This game has a two-plane fighting system, where players can fight in two different lanes. If a second player joins the game, they help the first player fight the CPU in a co-op battle. Every two matches, the player participates in a mini-game where you arm-wrestle a machine by mashing button 1.

A decent game to play with a friend.

The creator of the very first Street Fighter was the mastermind behind this Excellent Series, Included in his port folio was the Samurai Shodown Series aka Samurai Spirits and the Excellent King of Fighters Series to name a few of many Franchises created by him, under SNKs umbrella. This game was originally going to be Street Fighter 2 in the beta stages but due to Capcoms mind set at the time he left Capcom over disputes with Street Fighter 1 and legal obligations, ended the vision that would of been Street Fighter 2 originally made in 1991 under SNK the by the name King of Fighters : Fatal Fury would soon get fans from all over Japan Branching off the Realms dumb mechanics in sf1 brand new ideas were introduced in this game featuring 3d fighting mechanic for foreground and background fighting and is labeled as in guineas book of records as first fighting game featuring foreground, background fighting it also featured the first supermove power Gauge introduced in a proper fighting game and if and it may not be the first fighting game but it was released 1yr before Capcoms version of SF2 was released in 1992 but what was wrong with capcom it took from 1987 to 1992 to unleash there version of sf2 not the original vision at all to release were capcom showed off old mechanics from the old days SNK perfected it 700xs better.
