Wario Land II (USA, Europe) ROM

Sequel to the 1993 Game Boy title Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land, Wario Land 2 is the second title to feature the titular greedy antihero Wario, and his first adventure in color. In the game, Wario battles against the pirate army of Captain Syrup, whose riches he'd plundered in the first game to build a magnificent castle even better than his rival Mario's. Employing a variety of powerups and aggressive shoulder charges, throws, and butt stomps, Wario creates a unique platforming experience quite unlike his adversary's admittedly more popular series. The seemingly indestructible Wario can even make use of being set on fire, flattened, and even fattened up! It may not be the killer app of the Game Boy Color, but it's a very, very fun platformer nonetheless.
