neilencio rates this game: 1/5The good news first - Legends of Wrestling 2's visual styles tend to lean more towards the non-realistic, semi-caricature type, which works in its favor. The wrestlers kind of look similar to the 80s WWF action figures, which may not have anything in regards to realism, but are easy on the eyes.
The bad news is that everything outside of the graphics is bad. We're not talking about "bad" as in "it could have been better" - it's "bad" in the same vein as "why did they bother?".
The audio - both the effects and the background music - are repetitive, annoying, and border on grating. It seems like they have one sound each for when a wrestler falls in the mat, when a wrestler is punched/kicked, and the groan sounds. If there were more variety - I certainly didn't notice.
The meat and bones of the game - the actual gameplay, are so boring that you're bound to lose interest halfway into your first bout. The animation is jerky, the controls are sluggish, and I think the wrestlers have about 2 unique wrestling moves each. I have seen motocross games that had more wrestling moves than this poor excuse for a wrestling game.
Avoid this game at all costs, you're better off downloading WWE Wrestlemania XIX if you want a decent wrestling game on the gamecube that will run on Dolphin (the Day of Reckoning series is not yet playable on any GC emulator)
