Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets ISO

I was always impressed with the Harry Potter games (barring some of the recent efforts and Goblet of Fire). They gave you exactly what you wanted, a fantastic world to explore with the characters you know and love. Chamber of Secrets is the first in the Harry Potter series to feature Hogwarts as a full place to explore at your leisure. You take control of Harry, spending much of the game running errands in the castle, collecting spells and buying items. Spells allow you to access new areas and fight new enemies eventually culminating as in the book with a showdown against Tom Riddle and the Basilisk.
As much as I adore this game I have never actually quite got that far. In each of the Harry Potter games you reach a point where you are given a mission that is obnoxiously annoying, generally involving sneaking somewhere, that ramps up the challenge out of nowhere and frustrates to an insane degree. Hopefully on this runthrough I can make it to the end, wish me luck.

The harry potter games have always sucked pretty hard. I found Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets to be the best (They got sooo bad towards the end).
The actual levels in this game are stupid, and you'll dislike them, but they need to be done to get new spells. The game itself is more enjoyable to just wonder around hogwarts finding secrets and collecting the cards. Its also good fun to fly around hogwarts on a broom. Quidditch itself is kinda crappy, but something.
One thing about this game that kills it is that without the gameboy advance version, and the connectivity of the 2, you can't actually complete everything.
You wont want to play it a second time, but its a good game the first time.
