Gladius ISO

This game blew me away when I first got it. Very same system, too. Building your inventory and stuffing your coffers after every fight was enough to draw me in for the million dollar dice cast.

Don't pass this gem up, if you can help it. It is a game of awesome.

Lucas arts  says its a gladiator story come to life, I would'nt exactly call it that but its a good starting point. As you start the game you will to pick between two main heros the male being Valens the female being Ursula. You will then learn that both heros are part a a school of gladiators. you will then have to start assembleing you school and build a team by entering the arena you will face off aginst other schools for honors as you win and build your school you will be able to travle to other lands to compete. As for game play it is very turn based the arena will be set up in a board like patern you will only be allowed to take so many steps per turn. when you come in contact with and enemy you will be given the option to strike them you have a list of attacts each class is able to use base on level and you battle this way till one school or the other is all dead.

This journey into the ancient gladiatorial areas of Rome is all the more exciting when you add in the fact that every fight is at the behest of the Dark God of the game.
