TheGoofDaddy rates this game: 4/5Ankoku Densetsu (or Dark Legend) is a Side scrolling dungeon platformer VERY similar to Haunted Castle (Castlevania) and Altered Beast. I believe it was heavily inspired by games in the Castlevania franchise and therefore I gave it no "Props" at first... Now after playing through, I can say that whereas it is definitely NOT Castlevania, it holds up well, and stands out as more than an attempted clone. If you like either of the previously mentioned games or just want something surprisingly good despite huge similarities, give this one a try.
