Clu Clu Land (World) ROM

Clu-Clu Land is one of the strangest early NES game. It is among the primitive 1985 Nintendo releases, featuring 2-player simultaneous play. The game is much more fun with 2 players, but it may be difficult finding someone else who wants to play it. This is too bad, because it can be very fun once you get used to it. This is a 1-screen game with a vast number of levels, where the objective is to uncover hidden gems that form a pattern. Cute enemies try to prevent this, but you can stun them and smash them into walls.
The main challenge of this game invovles the odd controls, where you can only change direction by hitting a rubber-like wall or sticking a hook out to grab onto one of the posts in the level. This makes the game unique, but also sometimes frustrating.
