OverviewBionic Commando follows hero Rad Spencer as he fights through enemy territory to rescue fellow commando, Super Joe. Though similar to other platformers of the time, Bionic Commando puts a huge twist by not allowing Rad to jump; he can only get around by using his bionic arm.

The concept of this game is fantastic. Jumping is fully replaced with the use of a grappling arm. However, I am far too terrible at games to perform the maneuvers smoothly and to me, it felt clunky and I got bored quickly. Course, my brother grabbed the controller and glided through the level like a Bionic God so I know it's just me and not the mechanics.

Graphics, sound, and story were all enjoyable and I wish I could have managed the controls.
