OverviewReleased in 1994 for the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive, PGA Tour Golf III (3) was the third in a series of golf games produced by EA Sports. The PGA Tour series is the precursor to the Tiger Woods series of games.

PGA Tour Golf III is by far the best golf game I've played on the Sega Genesis. It offers all the information you need and tons of options for different shots. Unlike the cutesy Mario golf games, this is a lot more forgiving at short putts under three feet. I'm not sure why they decided to go with pink information windows but overall this is a solid golf experience for the Genesis. I'm playing it using the Gensoid emulator for Android on my Kindle Fire HD and it plays perfectly.
