Fatal Labyrinth (USA, Europe) ROM

Fatal Labyrinth (known as "Shi no Meikyuu: Labyrinth of Death" in Japan) is a rogue like top down RPG where players control a hero who must travel through the titular fatal labyrinth and slay the dragon at the end. The game is fairly unique and can be somewhat punishing as players must manage their hunger which drains with every step, change their equipment using their best judgement, and level up their character along the way. Each step acts as a turn in the sense that enemies only move and attack when you do. There are also a lot of slightly obscure things in the game that may hinder your progress. For example, eating too much actually makes your character slower because they are "too full" and it is possible to die to things like overeating. While the game is often remembered in a negative light, it may be a hidden gem to fans of dungeon crawlers and micromanagement.
