Bare Knuckle - Ikari no Tetsuken ~ Streets of Rage (World) ROM

The game that started Streets of Rage / Bare Knuckle series. One of those generics beat em ups in the earlier days but one of those few that featured weapons and multiple endings. 
Great and simple gameplay plus the music is just awesome.

The first game of the Streets Of Rage franchise. Play through 8 levels beating up villains and fighting a member of the evil Syndicate at the end of each stage and making it to the Syndicate Headquarters and make your way through a gauntlet of bosses from the previous stage until you fight the final boss Mr.X himself. Play as Axl Stone, Adam Hunter, and Blaze Fielding who are all former police officers. Each of them has their own strengths and weaknesses. I love this game and the sequels.
