OverviewHyperZone is an "on-rails" futuristic shooter for the SNES.

The game is pretty fun overall, with colorful visuals in a wide variety of different zones, good music that fits in each area it's used in, and a nice sense of challenge to top it off.
This game also gives a good sense of progression as you play by giving you new ships with improved charge shots and faster charge times.
The first ship you get doesn't even have a charge shot, giving a good "starting ship" vibe to it.
