Based on one of the great comic stories of the early 90's, The Death and Return of Superman is the videogame equivalent of a comic book drama. Doomsday has come to Metropolis with murderous intentions. Only Superman remains to stop him. But when these two titans kill each other, four pretenders to the crown arise to assume the mantle of Superman. But are any of them the Real Steel Deal?
Your standard side scrolling brawler, Superman will be familiar and comfortable to anyone who has an affection for game like Final Fight or Batman Returns.
Graphically solid with tight gameplay. The only fault is that the music is not appropriately epic for the Death of Superman. Most tunes are generic 16 bit fare. But aside from that, a solid game built from an epic, almost operatic base.
