Accele Brid (Japan) ROM

Accele Brid is an Action game, developed by Genki and published by Tomy Corporation, which was released in Japan in 1993. The game is basically a forward-scrolling rail shooter, except the background is like a Mode 7 video clip that just repeats itself every couple of seconds. I guess in the early days of the SNES this seemed like an impressive tech demo. Aside from looking cheap it did pretty well in it's time, The gameplay is kind of wonky at first and gets kind of repetitive. Enemies just sort of pop in randomly in front of you, and you have to try to jump around and shoot them.

Accele brid is a 3D shooter. You control a robot that race through a futuristic highway. There are different weapons to pick from. Robots that can transform into attack mode and defence mode. Shoot your way through the course and finish the game.
