Ape Escape [U] (Demo) ISO

An intelligence-boosting helmet enhances a simple ape into a dangerous mastermind, who forms an army of apes to travel back in time and rewrite history. To stop him, a ten-year-old boy named Spike must travel through time and space using an array of nifty gadgets to track down Specter and stop his timey-wimey machinations.
This is a brilliantly original game, everything from the controls to the concept stands out from anything else on the PS1. The music is spot-on, the levels are fun to explore and nice to look at, and the cutscenes and storyline really makes it feel like there's a lot at stake, without ever losing its fun, anime-like charm. In all, I greatly enjoyed this game, and recommend it for any fan of the PS1 or platformers in general.
