OverviewMetal Gear Solid 2: Substance is an updated version of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty containing the original game while adding hundreds of VR missions, a theatre mode and more. It was originally released on the Xbox and later made it onto PS2 and PC.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance is the updated version of Sons of Liberty. The Skateboarding minigame was only included exclusively in the PS2 version. The updated Substance, not Sons of Liberty, is included in the HD collection which was released on PS3, X360, and PSVITA.

-500 Missions (300VR/200 Alternate)
-Boss Survival mode
-Casting Theater (Can watch many cutscenes and replace character models with other in-game models)
