Formedras rates this game: 3/5In this sequel to Armored Core 2, AC2: Another Age returns you to Earth, the setting of the Armored Core 1 series of games, where unrest is building following the Earth Government's shifting of priorities from resettlement of the Earth's surface to military buildup following the events of Armored Core 2.
Gone is the Arena from the previous game, though many missions are Arena matches or otherwise 1-on-1 faceoffs with opposing mecha pilots, or Ravens. Also largely gone is the massive slowdown that plagued high-intensity fights in Armored Core 2.
