It's a typical shoot 'em up game with a linear story and basic game play mechanics you would expect from a game of this genre. Each stage consists of you moving through one part of the stage beating normal enemies, then a boss. Then more enemies, and then another boss. It goes on until you reach the end and have, "Tea Time". Tea Time is the time at the end of the game where you collect as many cups of tea as you possibly can. View Game |

Majuu Ou (Japan) [En by Aeon Genesis v1.01] (~King of Demons)SNES |
| Majyuuou or "King of Demons" is an action game released by Kss
in 1995, the story follows a man named Abel who has been betrayed and has his family sacrificed to revive Lucifer. Abel, receives new powers from his deceased wife and must go to hell to rescue his daughter and stop his former friend . The game's horror thematic is similar to Castlevania's, although Majyuuou is more intense. The gameplay too shares some similarities although Majyuuou does feel very different, the main differences come in the fact the initial character possesses a gun and later on is able to take on multiple demon forms depending on a type of jewel chosen at the end of the level. Despite being easier than Castlevania, Majyuuou's interesting gameplay and themes make it difficult not to recommend it. View Game |
