MegaMan ZX (U)(Legacy)NDS
In this new series set after Mega Man Zero, your hero Vent (or Aile) uses the power of the Biometal to fight an outbreak of Mavericks and stop Serpent from taking over the world! If you love the Zero series, you'll love this.
MegaMan ZX Advent (U)(XenoPhobia)NDS
Great level design. Good Music. Lots of transformations. 2 playable. characters. ZXA is an awesome platformer. A game like advent really pushes gamers to the edge on difficulty. An enjoyable game from start to finish. The only flaws are the crappy voice acting and the removal of Model OX which was a great form!

Megaman Legends (USA)PSX2PSP
The first 3D Magaman, released originally on PSX, with characters equivalent to of those of the original an X sagas. This is the last sgas chronologically. It was correctly translated and dobbed to English, fun unfortunately with idiotic censorship. This is a conversion to play it on PSP with custom firmwares.
Megaman Legends 2 (USA)PSX2PSP
The continuation of the the Megaman Legends Story Arc, a lot of new stuff to discover and some QoL improvement heave this entry a bit over the clunkyness of part 1. Sadly the final third part of the series was never finished.
MegaMan X Command MissionGCN
It's a lot better than the latest Mega Man X games. If you're looking for a hardcore RPG experience, pass on this, but Mega Man fans should appreciate the change of pace.
Mega Man (USA)NES | |
Mega Man is a side-scrolling action game that spawned many, many sequels and spinoffs. Known as Rockman in Japan, the game featured a protagonist that could siphon the abilities of bosses he defeated.
Mega Man 2 (USA)NES | |
First released in 1989, Mega Man 2 once again pits Mega Man and Dr. Light against the evil Dr. Wily and his mechanical creations. An influential title, it introduced E-tanks, a password system, and the series standard of eight Robot Masters.
Mega Man 3 (USA)NES | |
Mega Man 3 finds the blue bomber battling more robots. Mega Man's newly introduced robot dog, Rush, helps Mega Man to traverse obstacles, while the mysterious Proto Man tests Mega Man's mettle.
Mega Man 4 (USA)NES | |
Mega Man 4 continues the Blue Bomber's NES hexology as Dr. Light receives a message from Dr. Cossack, a new threat who intends for his eight robots to cause global chaos. Once again, Mega Man must get equipped and save the world.
Mega Man 5 (Europe)NES | |
Mega Man 5 continued the Mega Man franchise on the Nintendo Entertainment System with twelve new robot masters. Following the tradition of the Mega Man games on the NES, Mega Man 5 was tough but action-packed.
Mega Man 6 (USA)NES | |
Mega Man 6 was the last of the NES Mega Man games. With another brand new eight robot masters, Mega Man 6 continued the tradition of difficult levels and bosses, along with some new additions and upgrades.
Megaman VII (USA)SNES | |
Dr. Wily has escaped from prison, and its up to Megaman to bring him back. In this seventh game, the popular Blue Bomber takes the fight with new graphics. Fight your way through eight robots as you pursue the mad scientist. Beware of the mysterious robot Bass. Who knows which side he's on.
MegaMan 8PSX | |
Megaman is a good series so when it comes time for the eight installment it's sure to be right? Well unfortunately its not. If you've played 7 imagine an zoomed out camera so now everything's smaller and oddly Megaman doesn't look as nice. The first in the series to include voice acting the move fall flat like a pancake. With the two most infamous robot masters included in this eight game, Megaman needs a miracle to help him take on Dr Wily for the eight time. If you can ignore the voice acting and not that great soundtrack its still worth playing even a little bit. Megaman & Bass share a resemblance to this game so if anything play that instead.
Megaman X (USA)SNES | |
Mega Man X is a Super Nintendo spinoff of the classic NES Mega Man series. It embodied the awesome advancements we could expect in our favorite games on this new and powerful system. For those who may not know, Mega Man is a side-scrolling action shooter/platformer. You run and gun through many challenging and differently themed levels in the order of your choosing, each of them having a big bad guy at the end. After defeating the boss, you get his special weapon to use as your own. Every boss is weak against one other boss's weapon; knowing these weaknesses is key to defeating them and puts some emphasis on the order you play the levels. New to the X series were hidden powerups in the levels. You could find refillable energy tanks to recover health in a pinch, heart tanks to increase your health, and special suit pieces to boost various aspects of your performance - such as more powerful shots or better damage reduction. Mega Man X is one of my favorites in the entire Mega Man series. It's one of those games you can pick up and play for a just a few minutes and still have fun. It's quite a challenging game though, and will take some skill and dedication to beat. It's a great game, and anybody who likes action games will find a lot to love in Mega Man X.
Megaman X2 (USA)SNES | |
The sequel to Mega Man X follows directly after the first game, with X fighting against the Mavericks that remain even after Sigma's defeat. However, he learns that three Mavericks called the X-Hunters have Zero's parts, and thus he battles them to get Zero back. The game finished with a final battle against the newly resurrected Sigma, who shows his true form of a virus. This game added the Ride Chaser and the Air Dash to X's arsenal, both of which remained in the rest of the series. It's not as good as the first X, but still worth a try.
Megaman X3 (USA)SNES | |
This is the third installment in the Megaman X series, the last one to realesed for the SNES, and it keeps the high standard set by the other two. The premise and gameplay hasn't changed at all. The eight bosses are back, this time sent out by Dr. Doppler a former good cientist android turned into Maverick. Differences in this game include improved graphics compared to X and X2, a new set of armor, the ability to play (even if for a short while) as Zero, the return of Vile and a new type of collectible: the "Ride Armors". All in all this is a very fun platformer. Essential to Megaman fans, even if it doesn't bring a whole lot of innovation into the table.
Megaman (USA)GB | |
Play as Megaman and defeat the robot masters in order to stop Dr. Wily! Megaman for Gameboy is an excellent handheld Megaman game with a very high level of difficulty. It plays similarly to the original NES Megaman games with slight differences in game physics probably to fit what the Gameboy can handle.
Megaman II (USA)GB | |
The second game in the Megaman Gameboy series. Dr. Wily has used a device called the Time Skimmer to travel to the future and capture the future Megaman! Wily turned the future Megaman into a robot with the sole purpose of destroying Megaman, Quint. What's great about Quint is that if you lose in the fight against him, you probably should just stop playing video games. Megaman II is home to the lamest boss battle in Megaman history, the battle against Quint. The gameplay of Megaman II is the same as the first in the Gameboy series as a sidescroller in which travel through stages and shoot the enemies. Fight through the robot masters and defeat Wily!
Megaman III (USA)GB | |
Megaman III is the third in the series of Megaman Gameboy games. It's an excellent Megaman game in which Megaman must once again fight through the robot masters in order to defeat the evil Dr. Wily and his plans. Megaman III basically fixed all of the problems of the original 2 Gameboy Megaman games. The graphics are absolutely astounding and the gameplay is still as excellent as ever. Not to mention, the music is much better than the original 2.
Megaman IV (USA)GB | |
Dr. Wily is once again up to no good in the fourth Megaman game for the Gameboy! Like the original NES Megaman 4, you can now charge your mega-buster shots. Fight through the robot masters and stop Dr. Wily's plans once again in this excellent Megaman game for the Gameboy.
Megaman V (USA)GB | |
The first Mega Man title for Game Boy with all new Robot Masters, Mega Man V introduces us to the Stardroids, mysterious robots from space which attack the Earth. His Mega Buster proving to be useless, Mega Man instead uses the new Mega Arm weapon, which can harm the Stardroids. A great soundtrack and a cool new gameplay mechanic only add to how good this game is, and I think every Mega Man fan should play it. |
