Ninja Gaiden Trilogy (USA) ROM

A collection of the three titular games from the NES, the popular Ninja Gaiden games are notoriously difficult for being Nintendo Hard. Not straying much from its original design, the gameplay is nearly identical between all three entries -- and now with the new password system, it becomes far less frustrating to play. Mostly unchanged from their original games besides a few updated visuals, the games follow Ryu Hayabusa. In the first entry, Ryu tries to find his father's killer and is instead brought up through a grand adventure embroiled with demonic statues. The second game ups the ante instead by engaging him further with a government plot to beat the demon rituals once again, bringing him to the face of nightmares to save the world. In the final entry of the original trilogy, Ryu faces the blame for the death of his friend, only to find out that he now has a doppelganger. Now having to deal with the issues of his past adventures, Ryu has to once again stop the demons from overrunning the world.
