The game is also known as Pro Race Driver in North America, V8 Supercars : Race Driver in Australia and DTM Race Driver in Germany.
The game takes place fifteen years after your dad died in a fatal stock car crash. Ryan McKane (you, the son) starts racing competition with the Toca tour (BTCC) and will climb the ladder to be the world best driver.
Despite his soap opera scenario, Toca Race Driver will make you drive plenty of racing disciplines (3 under license) : DTM, V8 Supercars, NASCAR-like and thematics championship like GTV Cup, which in all opponents have the same car on Italian-only tracks.
The graphics are fantastic. Really.
The gameplay is good, but the AI is very aggressive and quite unrealistic.
There also is a single race mode and a multiplayer mode.
Toca Race Driver is certainly one of the biggest racing game of the 2000s.
