Sonic Riders - Zero Gravity(USA) is the sequel of Sonic Riders. More characters are available in this game. There are the same characters from the previous game of Sonic Riders. On your gears and get ready to race.

Sonic Rders Zero Gravity is the successor to Sonic Riders, it takes the concept of the riders series and pushes it further by utilizing gravity defying stones. Other new elements come into the fray as well utilizing the gravity feature such as gravity defying shortcuts, and new paths that can be taken while in the new attack mode. Attack mode is much like running on foot however you can hurt other players and go much faster than the previous game. Also you cannot attack players unless in attack mode so the boost feature as well has been removed in favor of the gravity feature. A new gauge appears onscreen representing how much gravity power you have available, much like the original game you can increase this power by doing tricks and getting gravity capsule items. New extreme gears come into the game as well as familiar ones from the past game and each one are much more unique then the previous game because now they include new features occurding to there gear parts. Gear parts are given to all extreme gears and once the player achieves a certain number of rings they can activate a gear change and modify the extreme gear they are riding. For example take Sonic's Blue Star, it has a gear part for speed, gravity gauge up, and grind. If you collect 20 rings you can gain speed, collect 50 for grind, collect 70 for gravity gauge up. Pressing the Triangle button will activate a gear change and players will use up the rings they have in there possession to change the gear. Performing tricks is now simpler all players need to do is press X at the edge of a jump to activate a trick. The better the timing, the better the trick and the more gravity gauge awarded. The new elements as well as an actual story (rather than linear just race here there and everywhere) make this game better than its predecessor however some may be taken back from the gravity feature and may prefer the old Air and Boosting features. More courses, more characters, enough to keep the game afloat for a fairly long time. Good enough to play multiple times.
