frogz2007 rates this game: 4/5Well, what can I say? It is a platformer, with a Monsters, Inc. twist! Here is the breakdown of the game:
Controls: 3/5
Why? Well, Sulley is a bit clunky in terms of controlling him, and he is bigger than most of the objects so it is difficult to truly platform in the game itself.
Audio: 5/5
I love the soundtrack to this game! It is super catchy and is very reminiscent to the Monsters, Inc. universe and fits nicely. The voice acting is also pretty good, if I do say so myself.
Graphics: 4/5
Sure, you may disagree, but you have to understand this game was made for kids, not for hardcore gamers. The textures are slightly generic and Sulley's shaders are a bit odd looking, but they tried at least.
Gameplay: 5/5
This is one of the best platformers I have ever played. Sure, by no means is it Sly Cooper or Crash Bandicoot quality, but it is unique. For instance, Mike might want you to gather parts for Boo's costume, but the CDA will appear after grabbing the first piece! So you have to avoid them while getting them all. Also the bonus features are jam packed with things!
Verdict: Play it.
frogz2007 rates this game: 4/5It may be just like every other platformer out there, but the attention towards level design is outstanding. Like, whoever was in charge of designing the levels deserves a gold star as the levels in this game are gorgeous! Though the only downside is the framerate issues; They are awful! If you like platforming games, try this out. You might like it!
