Puggsy (USA) ROM

Puggsy is an average 2D platform game developed by Traveler's Tales (which is now a subsidiary of TT Games) and published by Psygnosis (which is now defunct) about an alien who makes his way through various planets. What this game is best known for is this: because the game uses passwords, S-RAMs are not present in genuine copies of Puggsy. The game runs an S-RAM check after the fifth level is completed, and if you're playing a pirated copy with an S-RAM, the game will prevent you from playing any other levels, and the developers at Traveler's Tales send you a message to stop playing "this silly copy" and buy the real version.
