Aerowings 2 Air Strike is a title that would convey to you the notion that Air Strike is about shooting down stuff. Well, almost. Aerowings 2 features a large number of Fighter Pilot Training missions which will teach you the tricks of the trade. However, there are a couple of missions where you'll actually end up shooting stuff down. It's more of a Pilot Wings kind of approach to a flight sim.

The flight simulation aspect of the game, however, is well handled and you can expect a decent amount of realism as far as physics are concerned. The planes handle well and the game sticks to decent flying parameters. The graphics look good as far as the plane models are concerned. Ground elements tend to disappoint by looking rather shabby and bland. However, the game presents some interesting challenges and you can definitely try it out if you're a fan of flight sims.

There are not many flight simulators on home consoles, but the Aerowings series represents a good experience at it, especially the second part of the series. Flight in different times of the day and visit different locations like cities and oceans while you destroy your objectives. The different gaming modes including a 2 player mode and a free flight mode increases the game's lifespan.
