The story starts out with a young man named Vice who hunts monsters known as Abominations, creatures control other monsters and sends them to attack towns and cities. Vice destroys these monsters with his natural abilities as a Jewel Summoner, people with the ability to summon and control monsters from crystals known as jewels, Vice's jewel was a gift from his late mother who was in turn killed by an Abomination who he still searches for to this day. Vice one day went to the Jewel Summoner training grounds to find a jewel and was approached by the Jewel Academy to train properly. The game's story is mildly influenced by who you pick to join you but dialogue can get very interesting.
