Dead Head Fred is an action adventure game where players take control of the detective Fred Neuman as he embarks on a quest to reclaim his head from the evil mobster Ulysses Pitt who was responsible for his murder. Fred can switch between various heads he acquires throughout his journey that grant him various abilities such as charging through walls, absorbing air and liquids, invisibility, and many others. Combat involves essentially mashing square and X, but the player will need to block and counter to stay alive. There are also items to collect, NPCs to trade with, and so on throughout the game. This was a hidden gem among PSP games.
