Alien Syndrome is a top down shooter with mild role playing elements that serves as a sequel to the classic SEGA title of the same name. Players shoot down waves of enemies throughout a total of forty levels while collecting upgrades for their character. Players can level up their characters stats and equip different armor and weapons, but enemy variety and the overall combat are somewhat lacking.
