Out Run (Japan) ROM

Out Run is a timed sprint through a series of locales in your Farrari Testarossa. More time to complete the run is available if the player reaches the checkpoints, otherwise the run is over. Once the player successfully completes a run they are presented with a choice to challenge 2 more difficult runs, one of which being MUCH more difficult sort of like normal mode vs hard mode. Out Run was named of of the best driving games of its age, and for good reason. It is a very fun game, and somewhat more challenging than others given the time limit and the lowered camera angle (Compared to other games) making it more difficult to see what's coming and better simulate the perspective of someone driving the low to the ground sports car. Even crashing is made into a fun experience as you witness your driver and his female passenger hurled from the vehicle, making for a more realistic crash. I highly recommend this title as opposed to other racing titles of the age, and I suggest players of all skill levels give it a try.
