Game Description & Reviews:
This game is one of the best gameboy advance game out there. Graphic is outstanding for a handheld game. Even with manga like style and a linear storyline, there are so much you can get out of the game that you will enjoy the experience all throughout the game.
You control a single hero and a partner who aids you with spells throughout the game. You create your own weapon and constantly upgrade them as the game progress. With nice storyline and all the features you get, this game is worth your time and will leave you satisfied.
Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2 is that rare example of taking an already enjoyable game and directly addressing almost every issue with it. The game is prettier, funnier and easier to control than the first game. It's easy enough that anyone can get into it, although it might lack the depth to appeal to hardcore RPG fanatics. All things considered this is one of the best RPGs, and one of the best games, ever released on the Game Boy Advance.
A very good RPG. But there are circumstances that you get stuck in a situation and you're thinking a "save state" should be helpful, but you didn't save... So be careful, this is a strategy game after all!
So, this game is almost a complete upgrade from its predecessor. The recipes are much simpler, since you can just use whatever you find when you have it, but the biggest upgrade is found is in the weapon upgrades system. There's a high degree of customization, and secret item combinations unlock amazing abilities in your weapon. The only gripe I had with this game's weapons was a slight tweak to the knuckles and drills, and it's a minor concern that doesn't really affect the overall experience.
As for the rest of the game, it's still got the core gameplay of the original. It looks a bit prettier, and there's more to do, but it's still familiar territory. The writing does skew to the absurd a bit, but I found it appealing (mostly...). I found that the story had remarkably little to do with the original, making this newcomer-friendly as well. Full disclosure, I played this one first and had no trouble with the lore.
Tl;dr, if you enjoyed the original you'll probably enjoy this. If you're new, there's plenty here for you. Just be ready, it's gonna get weird.
