Game Release Info (NFO):
----[iNDEPENDENT]--------------------------------------- ________/\ ____________ /___/ \/ / \ / / / / / / / / / / / / / /____/ \ __/_________/ /___/ \/ Proudly (?) Presents: ----[Release Info]-------------------------------------- Game - Disney Princess ITALIAN Release Date - 04, Feb 2004 Platform - GameBoy Advance Origin - EUR Size - 64MBit File Name - ind-dpit.zip Supplier - vagina4free ----[Release Notes]------------------------------------- USA version released by Eurasia, 07/04/2003. Their elite-intro-piece-of-art corrupted the game so Evasion redumped it, 13/04/2003 (#0942). Suxxors, 28/06/2003, released the GER ver. (#1086) Patience, 25/10/2003, released the FRENCH ver. (#1220) I hope this little history lession was correct. Now it's time for ITA ver., and this is a laaate dump. Another stupid region dump. But I had one really great elite release ready, a 2-years-pre-store-release: Metroid 0.5 Mission. I added an eliteintro that fucked the graphics, but, hey, im an elite-intro-coder. I coded some nice ascii-art levels too, 80x24. But this gay-princess-game is better than that Metroid so I decided to release this. In that pre-elite-release the nfo was written by special-guest-Batman, and was really interesting... In the NFO was coded an ascii-animated-intro, an incredible peace of art done by one guy from Mode7. But evil-no-life NoIntro Crew can remove intros from NFO too and that guy's now crying at mom's house. I want to dedicate this n00b release to ror, remembering his best sentence: "Some people should give up and stop breathing". Dedicated to djgarf too, an elite moderator of, f.e., #gbatemp & #romz4j00, channels that spread roms and other illegal material around the globe. "I don't go around removing intros like a little cock sucker". Lame, if you really have a moral and an elite-philosophy, please, shut up and think about your businesses: [2004-02-01 | 12:08:05] ...... [......@.................................] has joined #no-intro That "cock sucker" was said to xuom2, the webmaster of N.I. website. Webmastering that project is not simple, often is frustrating when some people don't help, or offend, or pretend something, or ignore you. ----[Question of the day]------------------------------- If you really have a life, why you are removing all those intros and redumping roms like a fool? I copy-paste from NoIntro Site: In the Warez circle, who release the material takes pride in being the first to make a working release. If somebody takes a release and modifies it by adding anything to or taking anything away from it and then rerelease it under their own name, the scene get pretty offended. This includes everything from the nfo's to intros to the vid files. None of that should be altered. Addon that enhances the releases should be distributed separately. The release archives need to be maintained intact exactly as they are released. At the same time, the Emulation ROM scene is quite a bit different. While release groups still want to maintain their status and recognition, collectors are more interested in obtained exact dumps of the original manufacturers' roms. It isn't so much that they do not respect the dumpers, its just that they have a different set of priorities. The concept of adding intros and trainers to an image is adulterating it. From a legal perspective, you are allowed to download the ROM image provided you have the original, only if the downloaded copy is an exact copy of the original. Thus, all release roms with the intros, trainers, and hacks in them are by definition illegal. Many release roms are not true to the original roms because they are modified in additional ways besides adding the intros and trainers. It is not uncommon to tweak control settings, timing values, and other parts of the Rom data and code to make the release 'better' than the original ROM. And note that Intro Stripped Rom is not necessarily identical to an original ROM. ----[Game Notes]---------------------------------------- Ogni fanciulla vorrebbe essere una principessa.
