Diablo (USA) (Proto) ROM

As the name implies, it is a prototype that was never released. This ROM is also listed in the Beta Games section. It appears to be test code written for the initial stage of the game. Having been an original Gameboy owner, its a shame they never developed and released this game. Looks like it would have been awesome back in the day when Diablo was big.

This prototype was originally released by PtoPOnline.com. It was dumped off a Gameboy Development cartridge, and features a tech demo of Diablo, and how it may have looked if development was continued. There is very little interactivity available in this demo, as it simply allows the player to walk around, but it does provide an exciting look at what could have been.

Should be called No Clip, the game. Nothing in the game can be interacted with & the only active sprite is the character you control.

Again it might be cool if someone could develop onto it & make it something of a legitimate dungeon crawler. I have a Java Emulator on my phone (the only emulator I can get atm) that'll play GB games like this would be demo. Now if only a good coder were to add something to this game & make it worthwhile!
