Megaman Xtreme (USA) ROM

The first portable Mega Man X title, Mega Man Xtreme gives us classic Mavericks from X1 and X2, who have been resurrected in the virtual world by a hacker. X goes into this virtual world to stop the hacking and restore order. The gameplay, music, and graphics work surprisingly well on the Game Boy Color, and the game is fun to play.

Megaman Xtreme (called Rockman X Cyber Mission in Japan) has you once again play as Megaman X, but this time on the Game Boy Color.
As X you must re-fight resurrected Mavericks in what is essentially cyberspace. The world depends on X to bring a close to these attacks.

The game is really fun. While it's not as good as its sequel, not as re-playable, and the controls are kind of hard to get used to, the game is definitely enjoyable. It's good game to pass time on.
Other aspects of the game worth enjoying are its good ports of the SNES music onto the GBC, the enjoyable story, and the nice balance of difficulty.
