OverviewRing King is a boxing game developed by Namco and published by Data East for the NES. It was known as Family Boxing in Japan.
LeftyGuitar rates this game: 2/5Ring King is a boxing game for the NES. It is ok at best. You can select from different game modes like training or tournament. Before the start of a match, you can upgrade your character's stats. You throw punches and block. You move around the entire ring. If all your health is lost, you get knocked down and must push A and B rapidly to get back up. The music is ok. Overall, Ring King is a very medicore game.
