CCharmanderK rates this game: 4/5Fist of the North Star (which is known as Fist of the North Star 2 in Japan) is a side-scrolling beat-'em-up game developed by Shouei System and published by Toei Animation in Japan and Taxan in North America. This game takes place during the second anime series, Fist of the North Star 2, and is set in the Gento Koken story arc. You play as Kenshiro, a martial artist armed with the kung-fu style of Hokuto Shinken, the Divine Fist of the North Star. This was released in the United States when Viz Media began releasing the original Shonen Jump manga, and was billed as a tie-in, even though it takes place well after the events in the Viz manga.
