Knirps rates this game: 2/5Castlequest is a massive puzzle game that has too many platformer/action mechanics that disrupt gameplay even more than the horrible controls. It's like putting together a jigsaw puzzle while a guy shoots arrows at you occasionally. It'd be a cool mechanic if they didn't feel so out of place.
Controls are loose, everything feels floaty and barely responsive. All the enemies (and everything else) will 1-shot you but fortunately you have a handy-dandy inch-long dagger that doesn't help at all to protect yourself.
Graphics are below-average. Music is hoppin' and poppin' beeps and boops, quickly became annoying.
Gameplay consists of collecting keys, unlocking doors, moving boxes, avoiding enemies/falling boxes/being squished, and lots of float-jumping.
I found the game too difficult and grew tired of it quickly. Would recommend maps.
Kenani rates this game: 4/5This is a really fun game where you must get all the keys to unlock the doors to all the things you can possess to help aid you through this game, it's a lot of fun though on a not so tough platform.
