Anonymous rates this game: 2/5Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann is a video game for the Nintendo DS that is based on the anime of the same name. The game play is a hybrid of a point and click adventure (when outside of battle) and arena based robot battles, in which attacks are performed by playing one of many brief mini games to the damage percentage. The plot follows that of the animes' closely, with a few new additions towards the character roster early on. Overall, I found it to be a nice distraction, however the frustrating controls and the lack of U.S. release will likely discourage even the hard core fans of the series from picking this game up.
