Final Fantasy Fables - Chocobo Tales (U)(Legacy) ROM

It was a lovely day, and Shirma was going to read a story when Croma appeared suddenly, with a new picture book he discovered. However, it turns out that the picture book contained the soul of Dark Master Bebuzzu. When Croma opened the sealed picture book, Dark Master Bebuzzu once again lived and he abruptly turned the chocobos aside from -player- into cards. Now, -player- together with Shirma, Croma and Cid must work together to defeat Bebuzzu, Irma, and their partners in this colourful games full of exciting minigames and card duel.

Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales combines the field exploration of an RPG, with card-based battles. You are free to move about through the game's picture book influenced world. Encounter an enemy, and you find yourself in a card battle, referred to officially as a "Pop-Up Duel." You and your enemies take turns sending out cards to perform attacks.
