Bowser has once again invaded the Mushroom Kingdom and has stolen the magical Star Rod a powerful scepter capable of granting the wishes of whoever holds it. Bowser uses the Star Rod to imprison the seven star spirits, who used their power to watch over the land. Armed with the power to make his slightest wish a reality, Bowser quickly kidnapped Princess Peach, made himself invincible, and scattered the imprisoned star spirits to the ends of the Mushroom Kingdom. That's where Mario comes in.
You've got to hand it to those from Nintendo. Their creativity unleashes some of the most innovative designs and ideas to ever come out of gaming. So do yourself a favor, drop what you're doing right now and get this masterpiece!

After Super Mario RPG for the super nintendo,all the fans over the world were ready for the sequel wich was announced,it was named: Super Mario RPG 2.But it came to some changes,so we got Paper Mario.Paper Mario is a addicting game with great and colorful graphics,and lots of humor in it,i beat it from beggining to end and i was hooked,i tried to find all the things in the game.The storyline is great,and the new characters like koopa bros and others have a great design,this game is a must play.All the charaters are made from paper. I wont explain the story and spoil it for you.On your way you will meet many allies,ever wanted a bob-omb or a koopa to be your ally,not a bad guy like in other Mario games?Want to travel to toy box,solve puzzles and ride on a train?Want to explore the volcano,or roam in the jungle?Want to go to the ice palace?Want to explore the pyramid?Want to go to the haunted mansion?Want to do much more? Then THIS is a game for you,there is NOTHING wrong with this game,its a 5/5 without a doubt.I recommend this game to everyone.

One of few games that i played on N64, (the other ones was Kirby, Mario Party, Mario 64, and Mario Kart - all of them great fun) But this one is one of most epic rpg's I have ever played on all gaming platforms.

Paper Mario 64 is a classic RPG title that has you traveling across 8 different Mario-themed kingdoms to reclaim power from 7 star spirits and finally face off against Bowser in his floating island in the sky to rescue Princess Peach.

This is indeed one of the few games that I myself can never get bored of - Actually, I STILL haven't finished it.
After the late-to-the-party Super Mario RPG was released for the SNES, fans begged for more - After some adjustments, what we got was Paper Mario. It turned to be a huge success and spawned a whole new series; And for a reason.
This game is simply AWESOME. It has one of the longest storylines I've ever seen on an RPG, and the graphics and gameplay are unique still today. The multitude of characters (some of which you never would've expected to see on your own side), worked-out character personalities... All come together to make one timeless game.
In short, easily a 5/5. If you like RPGs, or even 'don't mind' them, you simply have to download this game.

Amazing game, both hilarious and fun. It took me roughly 20 hours to finish, and I feel its a short game... But just because I want more! Like RPGs? Here. Hilarious games? Here. Have a child, and want a good game for him/her? Here. Fun for all ages, never gets old.

Great game have always loved this game since i was a kid with N64, personally i think it outshines Super Mario RPG which it should since it came after it but i have a question for all you guys? I use the Project 64 Emulator, and when i save my game file it saves it over all 4 files i wasn't sure if it is ROM or the Emulator and i want extra files to use still so other people can play it any suggestions?

This is one of the few games where I simply cannot find a single thing to complain about. Paper Mario is one of those rare games that gets it all just right: fun gameplay, charming characters, wonderful, exotic stages, and quirky humor. From start to finish, this game is pure, wholesome fun, always challenging but never frustrating. A game for anyone, that everyone should play at least once.

I grew up with this game. It's one of those games where you can just play it and NEVER get bored! Atleast, that's how it was for me.

Play Paper Mario and explore the whole mushroom kingdom with your party members and save all the star spirits from the Bowser's followers. Also, don't forget to save Princess Peach from Bowser!

People never seem to get bored of this game because of it's charm and innovation. Paper Mario is a simple RPG that has you play as Mario in Paper form. I actually found this game a lot of fun as the story keeps drawing you in and you can never seem to put the controller down because of it's addictiveness. I say it's a definite get.

From what I heard Super Mario RPG was never the popular game, and we must admit, it was kinda boring some times. And them we got this game, a awsome way to mix the rpg and platform genres in an awsome game. Because of this the RPG genre got renewed and now battle based RPGs got lot's of action commands.

This is a wonderful RPG for those that don't even like RPG's. This regardless of this game's category, it's still Mario, and if you like Mario, you're going to have fun.
The only thing that really makes this an RPG would be the currency, the battles, and the fact that you can talk to people. Otherwise it still has some of the same action that you'll find in all mario games. 
If you've played Super Mario RPG for the Super Nintendo, this game has many similarities to it. Even the storyline itself is quite similar, where in this game you're searching for the seven star spirits, and in the SNES game you're seeking the seven star pieces. It was really wonderful to see a remake of such a wonderful game.
Personally, I found the 'paper' aspect of this game to be a little strange at first. But all in all, the graphics are cute, and I think it helps to make it a better game for kids to enjoy. 
A must have for any Mario or RPG fan.
