Over the last few days, I've been working on moving all of our content to new servers. First, the main website and forums moved to a new much more powerful server to enable us to serve you better. And then the Bittorrent Tracker & New Releases Section made a move.

Finally, all the content that we have (roms, isos, games, soundtracks, comics, guides, etc.) has been moved to a new server that is much faster than the previous one. This was a pretty big task since we have an enormous amount of data [over 2TB's] and so it took almost an entire week to move. However, the new server is much faster than the previous one and should help YOU get faster downloads : )

Please let me know if you face any downloading problems today since I might have made a few errors here and there in linking up stuff. We'll fix them as we move along. Do please tell me if you find any sections down, or unreachable. Other than that, have a good time this weekend downloading from our new servers, I hope you have a faster downloading experience from here onwards.

Today I've added something rather peculiar to our Game Guides Section. This time around it's a collection of paper-craft guides for Nintendo characters and games. Basically with a large amount of patience & perseverance, you can follow these guides to create your own paper models of certain items, characters, places from games such as The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, Mario, Metroid and more..

Previously, we had posted packs of 100 Nintendo DS Roms to our Complete Rom Sets section and we covered all titles from #0001 to #3000. Today, I've added another 500 titles to the this list so now we have another 5 packs available for you:

With the release of the new ScummVM 1.0.0 a large number of new games will become playable in this wonderful emulator. This must be the first time that even before an emulator is released, the rom sets for it are ready for download. Ofcourse, you can grab a nightly build from scummvm.org and be on your way to some great adventure gaming. I've merged the SVN and Working directories and so we now have both available on emuparadise. SVN titles are basically those that are playable on the daily builds of ScummVM but not yet supported in the final release. Here's what's been added:

I don't know if you've noticed (because technically, it should be unnoticeable..) but we've moved to a new server recently and it's much more powerful than our previous server. Basically the new server is to serve the needs of the website and forums so that you can get to your content faster.

I decided to make the move since emuparadise has been growing by leaps and bounds over the past few months and we do need better servers to sustain all the recent traffic. People have been asking for Pokemon, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Mario & Luigi, and I have been waiting for SCRIBBLENAUTS! This game is supposedly AMAZING, you complete objectives using any item that you can think of, just write it in and it will materialize. Pretty neat, huh ? I spent all evening yesterday thinking of what was left to add to emuparadise to make our collection even more complete. Suddenly, I realised that abandonware DOS titles have crossed over to the realm of emulation as well since modern hardware, more often than not, cannot natively run them. We already had a pretty awesome ScummVM section for our users to enjoy and now I'm happy to unveil our Abandonware (DOS) Games Section.

We've got over 3500 old DOS titles in this section, all the way from 1981 to 1996! That's quite a few awesome games. All of them are there, from Dangerous Dave to Commander Keen to the original Doom. Even the original Broderbund Prince of Persia is there! I remember playing that game on a friends 386 computer back in the day. So what're you waiting for, grab a copy of DOSBox (the best x86 DOS emulator out there) and head straight to our Abandonware (DOS) Games Section.
