TFX (1993)(Digital Image Design) Game

TFX (1993) From Digital Image Design and Ocean Software Ltd is the all around best interactive flight simulator I've played. It earns very high marks in it's simplicity for the beginner, even a person who does not have a joystick can select the 'Arcade' mode and fly with a mouse. Of course, once you've got the basics down, there is no substitute for the toughest mode 'Military Spec' to challenge even a veteran pilot. The CD-Rom installs several files onto your hard drive (you can choose to remove them after game play) And after ten training missions, you can move along to 'Tour of Duty' for any of the 3 flight models(F22/EFA2000/F117) where you can select your own ordnance, or the 'UN Commander' mode where you select all aspects of the mission. Then, finally you can select 'Flash Points' where you are given a short briefing, and right away you've got lots to think about. This mode doesn't give you a moments rest...
