Gabriel Knight Sins Of The Fathers (1993)(Sierra Online) Game

Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers is the first installment of the Gabriel Knight trilogy. The game's titular hero is a freelance writer and the owner of a New Orleans bookstore - his life, however, takes a dangerous turn when he begins to investigate a series of local killings known as the "Voodoo Murders".

Sins of the Fathers is a typical point and click adventure, and as such, requires no elaborate description in terms of game mechanics. The game starts off with a relatively standard premise - however, things get complicated rather quickly as players start solving the mysteries behind the murders. Gabriel, with his charismatic personality and laid-back attitude, becomes quite a memorable protagonist in this first adventure. Finally, it must also be mentioned that the CD-ROM version of the game features a large amount of voice acting, most notably by Tim Curry as Gabriel Knight, as well as Mark Hamill in the role of Detective Mosely.
